Nii is the Principal of JD Philips Design, an Interior Design Studio with offices in Atlanta, GA and Accra, Ghana.
Nii founded JD Philips Design in 2018, after spending several years designing and building two personal homes, as well as providing design services to several friends and family members.
JD Philips is a full-service consultancy firm dedicated to guiding discerning clients through every stage of new home construction and whole-home renovation.
Established in 2016, JD Philips has successfully managed projects across Metro Atlanta, Minneapolis, MN, Philadelphia, PA, and Accra, Ghana. Our expertise spans lot selection, financing, conceptual design, builder selection, and construction management, ensuring a seamless process from inception to project completion.

About Nii
Prior to establishing the design studio, and expanding to both residential and commercial projects, Nii was the Head of Compliance at the largest media company in the world, serving in this position for over a decade, upon his move to Atlanta, GA. Nii also has over 20 years in DJing and a deep history of Men's Fashion where he routinely featured in Men's Wear magazines both in Europe and the US.
Nii is not shy to let his potential clients know he is not a classically trained Interior Designer. With a background in Math and Finance, as well as a history in DJing and Fashion, Nii has always had a unique combination of creativity and attention to detail; and a work ethic and a creative passion that has served as the foundation for his success in the industry.
His keen eye for Interior Design and deep knowledge of Construction; has helped Nii transform his firm from a solo outfit to a team of 5 spread over 2 continents, with work concurrently happening in multiple cities across the US, as well as in multiple other countries. JD Philips currently boasts new and renovation projects ongoing with a cumulative construction budget of over 100 million dollars (USD) in both the residential and commercial space.
